The cliff path between Stonehaven and Dunnottar Castle has been re-opened with a totally unnecessarily long, in my opinion, diversion where the slip was only a couple of steps wide. There's a wee muddy scramble below Black Hill where the wise and thrifty Aberdeenshire Council have just made the path created by those ignoring the closed signs, they know who they are, the official path. The original slips and the diversions, if you choose to follow them, should represent no obstacle to Challengers who have stumbled the odd 200 miles to arrive at that location.

Be a shame if it's not open again by May. Never been, and was hoping to finish there so I could pop in.
