I need to book airfare and to do that I need to know what is the earliest train that runs from Montrose to Glasgow on Saturday May 24, 2014. the flight home leaves Glasgow at 2:30 pm local time on Saturday May 24th.
I realize this might be a "will it rain next week" question, but it will determine whether we try to fly home on Saturday or Sunday

The train timetable for the end of May is not available yet (give it another couple of weeks).

You should plan for the first train leaving shortly after 06:00 and getting to Glasgow 2:05 - 2:45 hours later (depending on the actual train taken). There is approximately one train per hour.
