A few hardy Challengers passing through Tarbet in North Morar will have met Frank Conway.

Sadly, Frank has died, after a short illness.

I found a piece of music, written for Frank by Hamish Napier that you may enjoy:

That's very sad.
Meeting Frank was one of the many highlights of our first day back in 2012.

Spent a lovely day with Frank in early march, and stayed the night in the bunk house. It was a very memorable stay. The stories he told were funny and fascinating, and the world was all the richer with his presence. God bless .

We shall not see his like again. And his music was wondrous.

That particular piece of music was actually composed on Frank's harmonium in the Chapel at Tarbet by Hamish Napier, who stayed with his band, with Frank.
