2013 report, Shiel Bridge to Nether Warburton (near St Cyrus)

I promised myself I would get this done before I applied for 2014. Just got it done! I have had a lovely day reliving the adventure I had, bringing together lots of bits I wrote a while ago with photos. Please take a peek...

P.S. As I am still a novice at blogging I am not sure that the link will work. Fingers crossed!

What a wonderful read, thank you! I thoroughly enjoyed that and what a lovely route, quite a lot of which is on my plan for next year, should we get in! Although I don't want my walking partner to read some of your account, I've promised 'not too much bog'...Oops!
(As it happens, I was with Mick and Gayle in the Bakery Braemar)
Good luck in the draw and hopefully see you somewhere along the way sometime!

What a gorgeous read - and then I went back to read your 2012 account as well! Thank you so much for this - the ups, the downs and everything in between.

Re: 2013 report, Shiel Bridge to Nether Warburton (near St Cyrus)

Thank you both for the kind comments.

Louise, was it you who had been troubled by asthma? I lost track of your name soon after we met. Hope you get in next year, and have a better experience! Don't mind the 'bog bits' too much - I am a mite obsessed, living in the Pennine region. Just remember to keep track of your route with your compass, not going over to 'track following' as I did on one sploshy day! Glen Afric and Glen Feshie are both a joy to walk. They more than make up for a bit of peat hag....

Hi Lindy! Yep, that would be me, wheezing gently in the corner! Everything crossed for next year and with a walking partner things should be even more fun! The bog will be fine, I keep telling her...

Just read your account of your 2012 training and crossing, a brilliant read, thank you!
