Re: The painful 3rd part of the TGOC 13 walk report

A great write-up.

It's amazing how folk with injuries make it across on the TGO.

Fingers crossed for less pain next time.

Re: The painful 3rd part of the TGOC 13 walk report

Really enjoyed your write up, thank you.

Must confess, having finished the previous two years in excruciating pain, I would rather have suffered again than have my lungs pack up! ;-)

Re: The painful 3rd part of the TGOC 13 walk report

I am so glad you managed to finish - you were looking very, very sore when we met. I know how hard it is to keep going when you are in pain - my TGO2012 was a nightmare. Full marks both for finishing and also for a wonderful write-up. Love your photos.

Re: The painful 3rd part of the TGOC 13 walk report

Hello Lindy, thanks for your company along the way. I think the incentive to get to Tarfside was the fact that there was no way I was pressing the SPOT device, how embarrassing would that have been when my work colleagues turned up!
All the best for the 2014 crossing, hopefully we will meet again on the 2015 crossing.

Billy, that was a cracking read. Whilst I was on your website I read the Cape Wrath Trail account too - another great read. That photo of the sunset at Kervaig bothy is just stunning.
