I tried Terrocs in my practice trips before my crossing last year, comfy as they are there just wasn't enough around the back of the ankle and I found they would rub after a while.
I went with Salomon Speedcross 3 in the end and they were fantastic, I reckon I'll get two or three crossings out of them.

Found the Terroc 330 terrible and wore holes in them on this years event. Hated the underfoot cushion on hard packed trails. I have a new pair Speedcross 3 as met a few on the Challenge who had got on well with them, and also my other Salomon shoes are a great fit. Been out in them and impressed so far. Grip is ace. Comfort and heel cup much better than the Inov-8 ones. Trail shoe to check out if your after a new pair is my advice. I'll report back after my Cairngorm trip in August and update this post on how they performed.
