Is Rab missing a trick?

Is Rab missing a trick?
All finishers get lots of goodies when arriving at Montrose, this year was especially good, socks, buffs and wearable T-shirts. But 300 plus potential advertisers, who are very keen on freebees, are hiking across Scotland for two whole weeks, why not give all starters something practical and visible like a pack cover or buff, (this years will be worn out by then). Rab would then get maximum visibility for their support of the event and who knows, maybe some more business.
Just a thought Mr Manning.

Re: Is Rab missing a trick?

It flabbers my gaster that Rab don't show up at the end of the event - even if it's only for the Thursday.

A display (and sale) of their gear would do them a power of good - excellent PR.

No-stock items could be posted direct to the customer - what's not to like? A win - win situation.

But what do I know?

Sales & marketing for my own business for 25+ years. 'Get yourself face-to-face with your customer at every opportunity'. It worked for me.

I'll get off my soap-box now.

JJ

Re: Is Rab missing a trick?

The last time we got a buff we received it before the event.

Regarding the t-shirt, although I far prefer it to the previous ones, I'll only wear it on the hills during winter when I have another layer on..is it at all possible to have a subtly badged one? The big badge is just a bit in-your-face for me.
