We chose a predominantly coastal route for the latter part of the crossing with some trepidation, but it turned out well. The coast route was off-road apart from short sections through the seatowns, and a few longer stretches (totalling 12 miles) towards the end. As some of the coastal paths are not well known notes on the route are included with the photo descriptions.

What a lovely route! And you were playing in my back yard (I live by Findhorn).

we did the same route, and have similar pics...brings back memories.
mine will be on in the future, so keep a look out
ps nice to meet you both in Luipmaldrig bothy before the day from hell on orrin reservoir..Lol
