Re: Half Price La Sportiva Raptors

Unless you want UK 11 = EU 46 . Bu$$er

Re: Half Price La Sportiva Raptors

I've just returned from Snow & Rock in Didsbury, Manchester.

I normally wear andything from Size 10 to Size 11.5* (sometimes even larger!), I found that Size 10.5 fit me perfectly. I bought 2 pairs - at that price I was a bit delighted.

The point is, that just because you might use Size 11, different manufacturers have sightly different-shaped lasts - Size 11 in one manufacturer may be quite different to Size 11 of other manufacturers.

Just thought I'd say...

Re: Half Price La Sportiva Raptors

Looks like the internet site for Snow and Rock doesn't have the offer :-(

I got my La Sportiva Wildcat 2s from Outside and had rang them for advice on sizing.

They were spot on. I usually wear a size 10, but was advised to go for a 10.5.

They are just sooooooooooo comfortable :-)

Re: Half Price La Sportiva Raptors

Thanks, Robert.

Found it.

Order placed :-)

Re: Half Price La Sportiva Raptors

I used my new Raptors (Size 10.5) on a 15 mile LDWA walk yesterday and found them very comfortable, especially when I expected to need Size 11.

I went back to Snow & Rock for another pair, at that price they're seriously worth it.

I'm out on a long walk jog next week (Gritstone Trail in a day), I'll be using my Raptors. If there's a problem I'll report back, but to honest they were so comfortable yesterday I don't anticipate any discomfort.
