David Wilson was first to reach his finish point today, at Stonehaven. He popped in to sign off at 7.30pm this evening.

And many thanks also - Dave has let us know about a couple of issues regarding the Fetteresso Forest which several folk will be passing through in the coming days.

Those approaching the forest from the north, via Moss-side, might encounter curious cattle (coos & bull[oks?]) with little opportunity to give them a wide berth.

Further in, expect to encounter heavy felling operations with plenty of big vehicles about. The work crews seemed happy to let Dave wander through but please exercise great care. The affected area seems to be around Hill of Hobseat and Stonehouse, a popular through-route for Challengers.
