Re: SPOT TRACKER users

Ian R seemed to be eating up the miles but in the wrong direction so the firm favourite was Michael F. But suddenly this evening - out of nowhere and taking everybody by surprise - Alan H sneaked across the Great Glen putting him well into the lead.

As we've seen things can change fast, but with bad weather on the way and the rest of the pack still in the big hills to the north of the Great Glen Alan H might have played an ace.

Re: SPOT TRACKER users

I don't care to 'win' but happy to be making progress with safety.

Day 2 was an absolute slug through boot sucking mud and hazardous rivers in spate.

Currently at the Pub in Cannich enjoying a fabulous fresh local Trout. No challengers here, but I saw Willem on the way in.

Cheers, Mike.

Re: SPOT TRACKER users

Info from Donald at ATP:

If a user sends a manual signal while the unit's in tracking mode, it overrides the auto signal generation. Thereafter, messages ain't being sent.

If you have a unit check that the settings are as they should be please, to prevent unnecessary concern at home.

Re: SPOT TRACKER users

Was the SPOT device used to summon help?
