We've been basking in sunshine for the past 3 days - even hit double figures!

Lots of snowmelt of course and the Moanies appear virtually snow-free.The burns are roaring. Crossed the Dulnain on Sunday - up to my thighs.(No rude comments about height please!)

I was on Meall a' Buachaille yesterday - the Feshies have significant snow cover on the summit ridge above Glen Einich and is heavily corniced.

The ski area on Cairngorm is still open and I'm told by the ski tourers that the plateau has almost total cover and they are still able to ski between cairngorm and Ben MacDui.
