Possible new track - Glen Garry

A friend who lives in Glen Garry sent me some information yesterday about a new track that may be useful (though if the weather is as predicted, it might be better to be in the forest):

"The cut off point (if you can cross the Kingie) is probably when you are about half an hour's walk from us, i.e. you'll have come off Gairich, walked through the forest and are east of Lochan an Staic. There are lots of forestry operations there (but not on a Sunday), and a new bridge over the Allt Choire a' Bhalachain (middle of the middle right-hand square in picture 1), leading to a new track above the forest (south of the Garry) that goes past Garry Gualach and on via Greenfield to Invergarry---a good walking route."

Re: Possible new track - Glen Garry

I was considering a route south of the Garry but was advised that the Bhalachain bridge had gone completely and the other was impassable.

Is the new bridge over Allt Choire a Bhalachain on the site of the old bridge ? If not have you a grid reference for the new one ?

Also the wooden bridge over Allt Garaich Ghualaich at Garrygualach was supposed to be quite risky, has that also been improved?

Thanks
