Re: Tripped over this

Well certainly on Saturday, the snow was lying at the sides of the road as we travelled north on the A9 at the Drumochter Pass (460m), but as illustrated by Chris Townsend and Terry Abrahams, things change awfully quickly. My post was just a little bit of fun...

Re: Tripped over this

Balmy and dry down here.

That's the problem of living in hilly mountain strewn places.
Full of weather and wind and snow and stuff, and rocky cairns and difficult landscape.
I mean Contours? What the heck is that all about.
You wouldn't write in crinkly paper would you.
No, you'd go and get a nice flat piece.

Down here in the Flatlands of East Angular (spelt on purpose like that),
we are having a balmy spell.
In fact we don't understand snow at all.
What is it?

Re: Tripped over this

Look inside your freezer, Andrew. Snow is a bit like the cold white stuff you find sticking to the sides, but without the frozen bread or oven chips.

Bugger all use without Ice Cream, Pies, Chips and stuff.

And another thing....

Why does the editor here allow me to say words like BUGGER

BUT not D A M N (see how I snuck round that)

How weird is that?

Re: Tripped over this

Have to say it's positively tropical here in our little micro climate on the Moray coast. I can see some snow in the distance...well, I could before the sandstorms hit....
