Well, you wouldn't have expected that from last weeks weather forecast.
They had them a couple of years back before the challenge.
Might have been 2009 or maybe 2010.

I seem to remember it hosed down for the first 3 days.

2011, my first Challenge, the wildfires were at the door of the hotel just befote the start and then it rained. A lot.... Who knows what's in store for us!. The snow at the moment seems to be mainly south west, north east and a bit central. We don't have any here :-D
