Lindsay, don't worry.
When you click the email icon, your default email will open in a new window, be it yahoo, gmail, 'whatever'. It will open in compose mode, with the recipients address already entered. Just complete your email as usual and send. At least, I think that happens! Hope this helps.

Or, if your email software doesn't open up when you click on the link, RIGHT-click and choose Copy Email Address (or whatever similar option is displayed).

You can then open up your email software and Paste the address into a new message.
