I'm starting at Strathcarron, but not until saturday 11th. I am staying at the Strathcarron hotel night of the 10th. Couldn't get away from work soon enough for a Friday start!

No worries. You may well catch me up (I'm a bit of a plodder).

With regards to time off work, I'm very lucky as my boss has freely admitted to being quite jealous of me for being on the Challenge.

Rosie and I are starting on the 10th hopefully. Might see you there.

Contrary to what some Challengers appear to think castration is not part of the vetting process; although this has got me thinking!!!

There will be loads of people at Strathcarron, or there usually are.
The starting points numbers are usually released with the final details.
Last year 35 started from Strathcarron, or at least should have done.
In 2011 it was 38. You will most definitely NOT be alone there.
