Accommodation Fort william

I'm darting up in April to walk the WHW for the tenth time (will I get a badge?) to make sure legs still in working order before May and need a bed in F.Wm.

Can anyone recommend a decent B & B near to the station? Perhaps in that row of guesthouses on the road out east - is it Belford Road? Used to stay in the bunkhouse but too old now and the Alex a bit pricey.

Re: Accommodation Fort william

I'm not au fait with current b&b pricing but I can't imagine its much less than the Alex. There is a new Travelodge on the ped precinct which might offer a deal at that time of year

Re: Accommodation Fort william

I was at the Premier Inn next to the station earlier this month for £29.00 a night...

... breakfast was extra.

I have stayed there lots. Highly recommend it, BUT the prices vary from day to day so check out the dates you want on the website.

Re: Accommodation Fort william

Barbara,

My favourite place to stay in Fort William - cheap - is Bank Street Hostel.

It's only a short walk from the station too.

You can get single rooms there - ensuite for £25 upwards. It is clean and tidy. Nice people running it.
