Re: Yellow Snow Warning

Or Blue Ice.

Re: Yellow Snow Warning

Not too many Huskies in Uk but still not recommended to eat the yellow snow. As immortalised by Frank Zappa: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acqzDcTRzaY
If you don't have time for the full 12 minute version there are others.

Sadly my weekend had to be radically modified due to the Red Snow (warning). I had decided to do a bit of backpacking in the Brecon Beacons LOL. No chance of getting there from Hertfordshire so reduced to ascent of Ivinghoe Beacon (altitude 233m), admittedly in semi white-out conditions on Friday. Saturday was a 26km walk round the home counties, including a stretch on the banks of the River Lea, which is almost entirely unlike any Highland river, or even burn, and is fordable anywhere, even in spate, though wading through commercial watercress beds is considered bad form.
