Re: south side loch mullardoch,

Hi Terry

I have crossed here without any difficulty and although I didn't note it I think there was a vehicular ford here. If it's in spate it could certainly be a problem You also have another possible problem with the Allt Coire an Lochain where, the same year, I had to do a lengthy detour upstream to find a safe crossing.

Re: south side loch mullardoch,

Have a look on Geograph and you will see the ford Alan refers too. As he says there are other burns which could be really serious in spate, although some are shown as having bridges who knows if they will be there when you need them.

Re: south side loch mullardoch,

hi there grumpy geograph what a great site thanks. seems like i mite be on an adventure going that way!!!!

Re: south side loch mullardoch,

I remember Dave Williams from Sheffield went that way a few years back and when he got to around Beinn Fhionnlaidh he got stuck but managed to get a lift in a row boat with a fisherman over to the north side where we all were beneath An Socach. It looked fairly impassable. If it was a fine day you could go along the ridge though that might depend on which end of Alan Sloman's graph you are located.
