Re: Digital mapping

I have used " antiquated " mapping like yourself since year dot; and since 2006 on my first start point, it works and is laborious. digital routing i am reading and observing. until 2008 i used Liverpool Library 25000/50000 maps hard copy! since then they are still closed for refurbishment and the maps are unavailable for Scotland still! your local library may not be. meanwhile i am buying/borrowing/memorising hardcopy.i am on a gap year of necessity and will be back. just to mention the low tec. alternative may still be there for you.

Re: Digital mapping

Many thanks Martin - Gough looks great!

Re: Digital mapping

Glad to help.

Re: Digital mapping

I would agree there.

I use QUO 2, but Grough Route is an excellent resource,
With extremely cheap monthly fees.

Top utility, and it goes down to 1:25000.
