Oh yea tho' ultra-lightweight Challengers may have cause for concern. Make my cuben-fibre, baby!

They tend to be over-friendly, go around in big gangs and smell strongly of wet dog.

Make sure your tupperware box is well down inside your pack.

Hey, Sloworm, don't diss the Vetters. They are working through the night to vet all routes before the End of the World. Any Mayans applying for the Challenge are in for a very hard time.

They can be quite snappy I am told !

My dog hates vetters. He's not 100% beagle, though - maybe 1% and 98% various other kinds of dogs and 1% department of work and pensions officer

But - true tale - I did see a juvenile buzzard stoop on a toddler just by the leisure centre in Machynlleth. Neither the mum nor the sproglet noticed and the buzzard changed it's mind with about ten feet to go and flew off..
