Hi Toad,

Inverness to Fraserburgh will be my "Monuments" part of the crossing, so yes, I will be staying as close to the coast as I can. Wanted a bit of cultural education on this crossing. Lots of castles, forts and other interesting stuff along here - having a hard time scaling it down to fit the stuff in. Aaaahhh! The joy of the challenge (hee hee).

Actually planned, measured and wrote up the first half in 3 days, but the second half... Man. So much to see. Oh dear. I'll have to do it again. Roll on 2014.
