Re: Sunrise, sunset and the moon next May

Hmm, that doesn't look right. Forecast for Edinburgh next May is 05.10-21.10 on the 10th and 04.48-21.35 on the 24th. Will be different further north of course.

Re: Sunrise, sunset and the moon next May

Perhaps a discrepancy due to British Summer Time?

Re: Sunrise, sunset and the moon next May

This is a handy little site, which I've posted before. Shows you all manner of sun/moon for any location, any date. I've set this particular example to show Edinburgh on May 10 2013.

Camping in the highlands when the moon is full is dangerous...

Re: Camping in the highlands when the moon is full is dangerous...

This documentary was a trifle alarmist. There was nothing a reasonably equipped Challenger couldn't cope with.

Re: Camping in the highlands when the moon is full is dangerous...

shh i REALLY need to scare a few people....

Re: Camping in the highlands when the moon is full is dangerous...

It wasn't my intention to worry you.....

I was a good Girl Guide. I was taught to BE PREPARED! Good theme for a Challenger....

Re: Sunrise, sunset and the moon next May

That is a lovely site. Thank you for that.

Incidentally, I have realised the mistake I made yesterday - see 'oops' below for the correct information....

Re: Sunrise, sunset and the moon next May

No - dumb stupidity! Wrong Aberdeen! See "oops" post below for the right times

Re: Oops - The RIGHT TIMES for sunrise, sunset and the moon next May

Thank you to the hawkeyed who have noticed my awful mistake! I have taken the data for Aberdeen, BUT, NOT OUR ABERDEEN. Stupid, stupid mistake.
