Re: Cougie Lodge

Robert,

Not sure about the website.

Cougie is a little piece of Nirvana in the middle of nowhere.

You can be assured of a good welcome and homemade meals and beer.

I was last there in 2009, but, I've read accounts of folk who have been there more recently.

There were a few of us there. We hadn't booked - and, all efforts, I'm sure whould be made to squeeze folk in if there were high numbers.

Others may have more up to date info, but, definately include it on your route, if you are passing that way and if you are looking for a place for the night .

Re: Cougie Lodge

In 2009 Val still had Iggy, who lived in the airing cupboard. Iggy had had an earlier incarnation, who I met on my first Challenge in 2002.
