The Dornie Hotel — which is the sign-out point — is OK. Dornie is a small place and this is one place you will guaranteed to meet people.

Food is reasonable and — as ever — the safe choice is the Venison Casserole.

I started in Dornie this year and stayed at Sonas Carr Brae. It is the first house on the right as you walk in to Dornie from the main road. The owner is Angela and she has a few rooms. I paid £30 for the night and that included breakfast!. I had an evening meal in the Dornie Hotel with a bunch of other excited challengers :)
