Thanks Hump3, at that price I can afford to replace some of my older collection. With maps going back to 1987 even some of the hills may have moved by now!

I still have a 1" OS map of Braemar from 1961. Cost me all of Seven Shillings and Sixpence. Which I find would be £5.89 now allowing for inflation.

that must be a good map Humphrey . i still use a 1963 1" OS of Derbyshire on linen, the cost then 5/- net. the hills haven't moved either. i also used a 1" OS map of the Cairgorms last may, cost 50p. cheers and good luck.ps i do buy new maps when mine fall apart.
