We don't need to make a detour. Rather we may wish to make an informed and coherent response, in good humour and recognising the absurdity of these shabby little men. After having had a good look, I can't find the current progress anywhere. The contractors finished the ground survey a year ago and held a 'dry run' for the turbine convoy in December 2011.
I would imagine that by May 2013 they will be well under way with their haul roads and access tracks.

If going that way I would suggest letting Alan Macintyre know, so that he can tell his chaps to down tools. Perhaps he could escort you through the site and give you a guided tour?

Perhaps he can tell you how green his project is at the same time.
