After 10-15min fiddling with a few bugs,i bought the most recent that was on sale on the app.

Its Walk from sea to summit, september 2012

I couldnt find the TGO app, was it the right one ? If so what is the page number for it ?

As an overseas friend I've got a subscription to the digital TGO. You'll need the oktober issue but unfortunately it isn't available yet.

DIGITAL EDITION ON SALE DATE

Just so-as folks know – the downloadable iStore and Android version of the magazine should usually appear on the same day as the paper issue hits analogue shops. Hopefully that means later today (Thursday, Sept 13).

The issue you need is the OCTOBER issue, which bears a cover line "TGO Challenge – Don't miss your chance to enter" on the lower right hand edge. The top strap, above the TGO logo, reads 'BACKPACKING SPECIAL ISSUE" and the front page is yellow-fringed.

As stated on this thread's original post, "If folk still struggle, please contact the co-ordinator".

Well that was interesting.

I 'bought' the app. No Problem.

Tried to buy the October edition: multiple passwords later, I got an error message: "Error" "You have not been charged"

Restarted the app and it's "downloading magazine" I don't know what magazine it is downloading, it doesn't say. Perhaps it's the demo mag. or perhaps it's the October mag I haven't been charged for?

I think Vimeo is better than this. (sorry)

And the result?

The Downloading magazine was in fact the October Magazine, and I actually did get charged!

Filled in the in-magazine form and sent it off. Nothing back from email yet... Is this an automatic process at TGO HQ, or does someone have to press a button?

A friend got the October issue at Gatwick on the way home. So my entry has been posted and should be in the box waiting for the draw.
