TGO Trail Journal 2012: Torridon to Stonehaven

Right on cue — as per usual — I have finally got around to writing this **** journal, just in time for the next round of applications.

TGO Challenge 2012: Torridon to Stonehaven

Marvel a Our intrepid Challengers trudge through the snow, get soaked in the rain and fight through the wind;

Alan Callow cleans out Aviemore Mountain sports;

Mike Knipe grieves for his lost spork but finds thousands of free spoons;

Lindy Griffith takes a nap in Easter Balmoral;

Peter Molenaar stays clean and spotless as he walks across Scotland;

Mervyn Redshaw goes Feugh knows where;

Gayle and Mick kill time by buying a house;

John Manning asks “why me”?

Plus, fantasies of Kylie, what happened to Alan’s coffin, all change at the Hungry Highlander, some worrying things going on in the Rothimurcus, taking a wrong turn in the Monaliadth, Tony Bowe puts his body through agony once again and the peculiar case of Rob Hausam’s shoes.

And so much more.

stonking!

Re: TGO Trail Journal 2012: Torridon to Stonehaven

Hi Andy - enjoying your journal - your route was similar to the one I planned this year only I succumbed to the rigours and failed to finish....well done for getting to Montrose!

Re: TGO Trail Journal 2012: Torridon to Stonehaven

What a fantastic write up. One glaring omission. No photos of you with a toe in the sea at the end! I'm fancying a Torridon start next too, or Oban, or Mallaig...

Re: TGO Trail Journal 2012: Torridon to Stonehaven

I don't remember any of this. Are you sure I was there?
