Bridge over Feshie

I knew I'd be one of the first to ask questions about next year's route! Darn it. Can't hold off any longer.
Is the bridge just south of Stronetoper still intact please?

Re: Bridge over Feshie

Joy,

Yes it is(was) certainly there in April but I am not certain as to the status of the Carnachuin one. Was only thinking yesterday about ringing the Feshie factor to find out how they are getting on with their hassles with the CNPA who had put every possible obastacle in the Estate's way when attempting the get planning permission to replace the old one which was washed away.

Thanks Colin.

Re: Bridge over Feshie

Hi Joy,

The well maintained bridge at NN 850 964 south of Stroneloper was fully operational on this years event (see my photograph/entry on Geograph for this grid reference.)

Re: Carnachuin Bridge Up and ................ down

Some great memories:

I've posted a couple of pictures of the Carnachuin Bridge UP and DOWN. They can be found here: http://aktovate1.blogspot.co.uk

Lets hope they find all the pieces to put it back together again.
