Re: Challenge Report 2012

Enjoyed that account Peter.
Well done.
I've been there, and got the T Shirt.

Next year sir!

Re: Challenge Report 2012

Hi I really enjoyed your account, you are the guy control warned me about when I tore my ankle ligaments just before Braemar. Plodded on Deeside Way, sustained by pills for the rest of the journey and still paying for it! I hope the stookie comes off soon and thanks for sharing your trip with the message board. Liz

Re: Challenge Report 2012

Unlucky Peter I hope you recover soon.
Your photos and videos were great, most enjopyable. The Ben Alder shots were impressive. Big well done for puting all this together, and once again speedy recovery.

Re: Challenge Report 2012

You were unlucky, Peter.

Your unfortunate experience brings home the challenge of walking alone.

I enjoyed your photos and video, even though - every time you crossed one of those rickety old bridges I was waiting for the camera to go flying ......

Hope your ankle is fully healed soon.

Re: Challenge Report 2012

I'm pleased to say I'm on the road to recovery (would have preferred to have been on the one to St Cyrus!)Many thanks for all your comments. I was unlucky this time. It hasn't put me off doing more solo adventures in the future, but I hope for for less agony and more ecstasy!
