Re: Strathcarron to Catterline, Marian's pics.

Great phot's and great to see you had ventured into the snow line, respect!

Re: Strathcarron to Catterline, Marian's pics.

Some cracking photos there Marion, our routes crossed quite a lot, just not necessarily at the same time!

Re: Strathcarron to Catterline, Marian's pics.

Enjoyed looking at those

Re: Strathcarron to Catterline, Marian's pics.

Lovely pics Marion, your route and mine were similar, however, I'm afraid my feet blew up after the rotten weather on Sunday and many miles on tarmac. Never mind, I've had a taste of the rest of the route..

Re: Strathcarron to Catterline, Marian's pics.

Thanks, our route worked well apart from the bit between Bridge of Dye and Glenbervie, where we might have been better avoiding The Builg (very steep arduous shoulder-high heather and deep bog) and going over Kerloch. Anyway, I can't get over the excitement when taking those first few steps on the journey, even in the rain and snow: such fun seeing what lies over the next col! Sorry you didn't make it, Rod: better luck next time, hope you get on for another go!

Great pics, Marian. Looks like you had a wonderful crossing this year.
