Hi,
Had the same problem in Auzzie when I bought a gas stove there some years ago. I requested from sales person if thread same as uk camping gas thread.
The reply I got was check wording on side of tank and if you can read it, ie in English, or Scotch or whatever, then the two should mesh.
Believe that if you want, however it does work.
