Louise, about the Kamleika trousers: I'm 32in waist/38 hips at the moment (oops, another winter eating too much!) and medium is fine though if I want loads of room I wear L size. The stretchy fabric is called Gelanots, whose performance is rated exactly the same as Gore Paclite.
