We always use K.E. and find them preferable to Exodus who are (or were) perhaps a bit more 'downmarket', more geared towards young folk. (Maybe you are 'young folk??) Anyway, having bumped into Exodus in action in Russia, Nepal and Africa, we seemed to be better looked after by K.E. We also used Ramblers once in Tenerife, hiking and scrambling the amazing rugged trails and found it better to 'do our own thing' each day, as the rest of the group was so slow and pathetic that even the leader was complaining - also, we couldn't cope with being shepherded around like a class of children (though as a former walk leader myself, I can understand the reasons for keeping everyone in sight at all times, but it isn't for us!) K.E. don't shepherd you in that fashion - you can go at your own pace. Just a few points to consider.
