Creating the Perfect A Pimp Named Slickback Outfit – Tips & Ideas?
Hello! I'll be cosplaying as A Pimp Named Slickback from The Boondocks at a future event, and I could use some help putting the costume together. The big pieces are reputed to be a bold color suit (usually purple or red), a large-brimmed hat that has a feather on it, gold accents, flashy shoes, and, naturally—a cane. I would like to make sure I get all the details absolutely perfect in order to capture his unique style and over-the-top personality.
Has anyone here attempted this look in the past? Any recommendations on where to shop for the perfect a pimp named slickback outfit or accessories online? Or better yet, any DIY hints on how to hack the look on a budget? Extra credit for makeup or wig hints on how to really finish off the look.
