Several runners from Airecentre Pacers took part in the challenging and hilly Guy Fawkes 10 mile race over tracks and country lanes starting at Ripley Castle near Harrogate. The conditions were sunny and dry. Paul Grindley had another good run finishing in 68th place in a time of 69.15 followed by Richard Clarke (128th) in 73.38. Jenny Beaumont, doing this course for the first time, had a good race coming 269th in a time of 81.27 closely followed by Rob Grafton (276th) in a time of 81.49. There was a close battle between Angela Crawford (305th) and John Tate (306th) in times of 83.37 and 83.38 respectively. Rhona Neilson (463rd) in 90.52 improving on last year’s time by seven minutes and Amanda Hall (549th) in 94.48 completed the team.
