John Tate continued his fine performances in distance running on Sunday 9th October taking part in the Liverpool Marathon and came 1383rd in a field of over 9000 in a time of 4.02.17.

Chris Garnett and Jason Nicholson recently took part in the Bradford City Run over a half marathon distance. Jason completed the course in an excellent time of 1.39.40 (75th) and Chris took 1.55.55 (221st).
Airecentre Pacers will be running the Chevin Chase again this year on Boxing Day. The Chevin Chase, which is a hilly multi-terrain running event over approximately seven miles, includes gruelling climbs as well as beautiful views from the top of Otley Chevin and has been a popular local event for over thirty years. Entrants in former years have included international runners as well as fun runners in fancy dress. The Chevin Chase will be open for entries by applying on line to www.runbritain.com with effect from Monday 17 October. In recent years the race limit has been reached well before the closure date and runners wishing to apply for entries should do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
