A lot of the "CRANE" guys we served with will remember the good and bad times we had, but the worst was when we had to physically ship everything back from Finthen. I had the pleasure to serve with the 273rd, 295th, 355th and 273rd again. I had the unfortunate duty of being assigned to every unit for shutdown. Those were great aircraft, the personnel were the best and we did things no one could or has been able to do since then. I take my hat off to those who have gone on and only wish those of us left the best.
