A long time resident who lives very close to the school in question told me on sunday 30th that it is being knocked down in 6 weeks and some houses are going up. Ime not doubting the person but has anybody else heard this ?

Just put "Heath Road" in to the site address box, no need to fill them all in. There are a couple there for St. Thomas' school but both have been withdrawn.

ive noticed a perimeter fencing has been put up around the school , does this mean its about to be demolished . i do hope so its a complete eyesore...

Went past today they have started on it all the slates are off the roof now so it will not take long to shift it, Hope you took a photo for a before and after post

Why do you say that I've lived in the Ashton area over 70 years and more than likely the house you now live in was built on green belt land, this is reclaimed land for about 7/8 houses, ? how many were built where you live
