I always thought as a kid I'd go back and see my parents when they were kids the same age as me. See what they were like, get a different perspective of them.

Of course I wanted to travel far in to the future to see all the great science that would have taken place too.

I would go back to age 16 when I was carefree,fit and played cricket and football every week. And I could re-live those dalliances with the young ladies. I had an enjoyable time for two years until it came to a juddering halt when I was called up and lost the next two years of my life to National Service. I would also be able to put right a big regret I have by saying thank you to my parents which I did not do often enough.
