Hi.I like many have been looking back and trying to trace my roots. From census records I've managed to find out that my family lived to Ashton from around 1860. My Great great grandfather move from Hunston in Derbyshire and married Mary..? His son Thomas married Martha and gave birth to my grandfather Joseph Merricks in 1895. Joseph eventually moved to Doncaster and married Elizabeth Burnes. They had 4 children, my father Harold the youngest.
I'd be intrested in any futher information.
