Cromptons pond

Hi does anyone know if you can fish in Crompton’s pond and if so, do you have to get permission from anyone?

It's a private pond Jenny so imagine you will have to get permission. Don't know who from though.

The fishing rights belong to Cromptons fishing club, but the lake doesn't belong to them, so I don't know why it's called Cromptons.
The club used to meet in the Angel pub on Warrington Road, but now I think they meet in the Catholic Club once a month.
According to what's said, they would welcome new members.

Hi.

The water is owned by Cromptons Angling Club.They meet at The Kings Arms I think on the last Friday of the month,membership is £25 a year.I am about to start fishing again,and would welcome company.
