I only recently noticed the uniform change when visiting my Mum in Ashton. I thought Ashton had a new school until I noticed the blazer badge.I am a former pupil and Head Girl of Ashton Grammar School.I am appalled at the change in uniform colour. The brown has always looked smart. The new colours look very cheap and nasty.Maybe the Head and Governors think that a change of colour changes a school's reputation and makes the pupils work harder?? I very much doubt that.
