Chris's memorial sponsored walk.

In November last year we lost our nephew Christopher aged 23, his friends and family arranged a sponsored walk to raise funds to buy a bench and plaque to put at 3 Sisters. Well yesterday 2nd September 2012 over 20 youngsters set of from Ashton Town Centre at 7.30am and walked to Rivington Barn and then from there up to Rivington Pike and back down to The Barn. After just over 7 hours they completed this walk.

From all Chris's family we are all blown away at the way these youngsters gave their time and money all in memory of "Our Chris" each and everyone of you his friends and his family have done him proud. I think it shows how much you meant to everyone Chris.

At Rivington Barn for their final stage of the walk.

Only 1 way to go now and thats back down.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. Who took part and who sponsored.

Re: Chris's memorial sponsored walk.

Well done to all who took part.

One of the members of our Church at St Thomas read out from the Pulpit that they just received a text and that all arrived safely at 11am on Sunday morning.
