robin hood inn ashton in makerfield

Dear Sir/Madam, i am trying to put together a history of the Robin Hood pub in Ashton in Makerfield, i can only go back as far as 1824,can any one provide any info going back earlier, as i have been told there were once holding cells underneath which is part of the cellar.
