Skitters Wood

Does anyone know who owns the wood? My query really concerns the piece of land that goes up to the bottom of R L Hughes school field. This is a lovely shortcut to school and it's a pleasure to see so many use it when the weather is dry but once the rain comes it's a boggy mess! Having a proper pathway would be beneficial for getting kids walking to school and also ease the traffic.
