The flashes are a result of nineteeth century industry, the Norfolk Broads were created by peat cutting.
Somehow in the late twentieth and early twenty first centuries we have a certain set off people who object to any extension of the industrial base.
The same people say no new jobs are created, without offering any real facts and figures. We can become as a nation one large industrial heritage site, or we can move forward. Yes forward, I know we can argue what progress is or not, but very soon we as an area will be left so far behind with our infrastrucure that basic service will not be able to obtain finance.
