Ashton Gala 19.5.12

Gala on Liverpool Road Community Garden Ashton in Makerfield. Organised by Friends of Ashton.

Saturday 19.5.12 11am to 4pm

Wacky Play Truck, Inflatable fun, Climbing Wall, Face painting, pony rides, plant stalls, craft stalls, food stalls. Olympic theme with fun childrens races.

Something for everybody - lots of community stalls and Church stalls come and have a look.

A big THANK YOU to everybody who came to the Gala if you hosted a stall or visited I hope you had a fun day.

The children loved the mini races that we held and everyone seemed captivated with the bee hive observation panel. We had a dance crew who came all the way from Bristol who put on a fantastic show. If you missed it they will return on 31st May to do a repeat dance performance as the Olympic Torch passes by.

Once again a big THANK YOU for coming to the Gala and making it another fun day for all.
